Who Do You Hire for Repairs? Landscaping? Remodeling?

Oregon's Construction Contractor's Board (CCB) is responsible for testing and licensing any who are compensated for working on improvements to real property. The licenses also reqire surety bonds and liability insurance. At the CCB's website, you can browse to see all that they do for us, the consumers, including dispute resolution. You can check on the status of any contractor's license, see if there are unresolved disputes, disciplinary actions or fines. They have a new "Consumer Help" link right on their front page.
